Michael Pon joined the Vouchers 4 Veggies – EatSF team in 2020 after his undergraduate course work revealed the prevalence of food deserts and food insecurity within his local communities. His education and previous experiences developed his passion for health promotion through the addressing of health inequities at the community and structural levels. Michael has a BSc in Health Education with a focus in Community-Based Public Health from San Francisco State University.
